The Treasury Department of Christ Our Hope Seventh-day Adventist Church is entrusted with the faithful management of the church’s financial resources. This department ensures that every tithe, offering, thanksgiving donation, harvest contribution, and other financial support is handled with integrity, accuracy, and transparency.

Working in harmony with church leadership and departments, the Treasury Department helps ensure that the resources of the church are directed toward supporting ministry, evangelism, community outreach, and the maintenance of the church’s operations.

Core Responsibilities:

• Tithes & Offerings Management: Collecting, recording, and safeguarding all contributions from members.

• Financial Reporting: Preparing regular financial updates and reports for church leadership and the congregation.

• Budgeting & Planning: Assisting in the preparation of church budgets to ensure wise allocation of funds.

• Accountability & Stewardship: Ensuring that financial practices align with biblical principles and Adventist financial guidelines.

• Supporting Mission: Directing resources toward evangelism, welfare, and the growth of the church community.

The Treasury Department embodies the principle found in Luke 16:10: “Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much.” Their faithful stewardship builds trust among members and ensures that God’s resources are used to advance His kingdom.
