Sabbath School Department
The Sabbath School Department of Christ Our Hope Seventh-day Adventist Church serves as the heartbeat of Bible study, fellowship, and mission. It provides opportunities for members and visitors of all ages to study God’s Word in small groups, grow spiritually, and actively participate in sharing the gospel.
Through interactive Bible discussions, mission reports, and community engagement, Sabbath School helps members deepen their faith, strengthen relationships, and prepare to serve as witnesses for Christ. It is not only a time for learning but also a time for nurturing friendships and supporting one another in Christian growth.
Core Responsibilities:
Bible Study Groups: Leading age-based and interest-based classes every Sabbath morning with lesson guides designed for children, youth, and adults.
Mission Emphasis: Sharing inspiring mission stories that connect members with the global church and encourage active involvement in outreach.
Nurturing New Believers: Supporting newcomers in their walk with God and helping them integrate into church life.
Personal Ministries Partnership: Encouraging members to take what they learn and share it through witnessing, evangelism, and community service.
Fellowship & Discipleship: Creating an environment where members grow together as a family of faith.
The Sabbath School Department is guided by the mission of Matthew 28:19–20: “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations… teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you.”
