Public Campus Ministries (PCM)
The Public Campus Ministries Department of Christ Our Hope Seventh-day Adventist Church is dedicated to supporting and nurturing Adventist students who attend public colleges, universities, and tertiary institutions. This ministry provides a spiritual home for young people as they navigate academic life, ensuring they remain grounded in their faith while positively influencing their campuses.
PCM seeks to equip students to be ambassadors for Christ in their schools, offering them fellowship, mentorship, and opportunities to grow spiritually, intellectually, and socially. It encourages students to live out their faith boldly and to share the hope of the gospel with their peers.
Core Responsibilities:
Spiritual Nurture: Providing Bible studies, prayer meetings, and fellowship programs tailored for students.
Campus Evangelism: Empowering students to witness and minister to their classmates through personal and group outreach.
Leadership Development: Training young people to become leaders in both the church and society.
Mentorship & Support: Offering guidance, counseling, and encouragement to students as they balance faith, academics, and personal life.
Networking & Fellowship: Creating opportunities for Adventist students across different campuses to connect and strengthen each other.
PCM is inspired by Ecclesiastes 12:1: “Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth.” It reminds students to stay connected to God during their academic journey while preparing for a life of service.
