The Music Department of Christ Our Hope Seventh-day Adventist Church plays a vital role in leading the congregation into meaningful worship through music. Music is central to Adventist worship, uplifting hearts, teaching truth, and preparing the soul to receive God’s Word. The department coordinates and oversees all musical activities of the church, ensuring that every song offered glorifies God and draws worshippers closer to Him.

This department works with different groups and individuals who minister in music, ranging from choirs to singing bands and instrumentalists. Through their dedication, the Music Department enriches Sabbath services, evangelistic programs, special events, and community outreach with powerful and spirit-filled music.

Core Responsibilities:

• Leading the congregation in singing during Sabbath worship and special services.

• Coordinating the activities of the church choir, singing band, and smaller music groups.

• Organizing rehearsals, training, and workshops to improve the quality of music ministry.

• Supporting church programs and evangelistic campaigns with vibrant music.

• Using music as a tool for evangelism and spiritual growth.

The Music Department is guided by Psalm 100:2—“Serve the Lord with gladness; come before His presence with singing.” Through the ministry of the Hope Choir, the Inspirational Singing Band, and dedicated instrumentalists, the department seeks to glorify God, uplift the congregation, and bring hope to all who listen.
