The Interest Coordinators Department of Christ Our Hope Seventh-day Adventist Church plays a vital role in nurturing newcomers, visitors, and all those showing interest in the church. This ministry ensures that every guest feels warmly welcomed, cared for, and guided toward deeper involvement in church life and fellowship with Christ.

Interest Coordinators serve as a bridge between visitors and the church family, helping people transition from being guests to becoming fully integrated, active members of the body of Christ.

Core Responsibilities:

• Welcoming Visitors: Ensuring every newcomer to the church receives a warm, personal welcome.

• Follow-Up: Keeping in touch with visitors and interests, encouraging their participation in Bible studies, Sabbath School, and other programs.

• Integration: Helping new believers and attendees find their place in church life by connecting them to departments, groups, and ministries that match their needs and gifts.

• Spiritual Nurture: Providing encouragement, prayer, and mentorship to strengthen the faith journey of new members.

• Sabbath Oversight: Assisting in maintaining an atmosphere of care and order during Sabbath services.

This ministry reflects Romans 15:7: “Therefore welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God.” By creating a culture of warmth and belonging, the Interest Coordinators help ensure that no one feels like a stranger in God’s house.
