The Family Ministries Department of Christ Our Hope Seventh-day Adventist Church is devoted to strengthening marriages, nurturing families, and fostering Christ-centered homes. Recognizing that the family is the foundation of both the church and society, this ministry provides guidance, education, and support to help families live in harmony with God’s design.

Core Responsibilities:

• Marriage Preparation & Enrichment: Providing premarital counseling, marriage seminars, and programs that equip couples to build strong, lasting relationships.

• Conflict Resolution & Support: Offering biblical guidance to help families resolve challenges and maintain unity.

• Parenting & Child Nurture: Training parents in Christlike parenting, with resources to raise children in love, discipline, and faith.

• Family Life Education: Organizing retreats, workshops, and family-centered worship services to strengthen bonds within households.

• Support for All Life Stages: Creating programs for singles, married couples, widows, and seniors, ensuring every family member feels valued and included.

• Community Engagement: Reaching out beyond the church to promote healthy family values and offer support to struggling families in the community.

The Family Ministries Department is inspired by Joshua 24:15: “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” By uplifting families, the department strengthens the church and extends God’s love to the wider community.
