Health Department
The Community Services Department of Christ Our Hope Seventh-day Adventist Church is the outreach arm of the church, dedicated to demonstrating Christ’s love through practical service to the surrounding community. By addressing both physical and spiritual needs, this ministry reflects the mission of Jesus to care for the whole person.
The department leads the church in building strong ties with the community by organizing service-oriented programs that uplift lives and foster unity.
Core Responsibilities:
Sanitation & Clean-Up Campaigns: Leading clean-up exercises to promote a healthier, cleaner environment.
Community Welfare: Offering food, clothing, and essential items to needy individuals and families.
Health & Wellness Programs: Supporting the Health Department with medical outreach, blood donations, and wellness education.
Educational & Social Support: Assisting students with supplies and engaging in activities that strengthen families and youth.
Disaster Relief: Providing aid to victims of natural disasters, emergencies, or other crises.
Evangelism Through Service: Using acts of kindness as a platform to introduce others to the hope found in Jesus Christ.
The Community Services Department is guided by Matthew 25:40: “Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” By serving others, the church fulfills its mission to be a light in the community.
