Youth Ministries Department
The Youth Department of Christ Our Hope Seventh-day Adventist Church is committed to empowering young people to grow in Christ, develop their talents, and serve both the church and community with dedication. The Seventh-day Adventist Church values its youth not only as the future of the church but also as vital contributors in the present.
Through vibrant programs, mentorship, and spiritual guidance, the Youth Department nurtures the faith of young people and equips them to become active disciples of Jesus. By working closely with regional and global youth leaders, the department ensures that its activities are relevant, engaging, and impactful.
Core Responsibilities:
Spiritual Growth: Guiding young people in Bible study, prayer, and discipleship to help them build a personal relationship with Jesus.
Mentorship & Training: Providing leadership development opportunities and mentoring youth for service in the church and society.
Community Service: Mobilizing youth to serve their community with acts of kindness, outreach, and evangelism.
Clubs & Fellowships: Organizing dynamic youth groups and clubs that encourage spiritual, social, and personal growth.
Holistic Development: Supporting education, life skills, and health initiatives that build strong, Christ-centered young people.
The department is guided by 1 Timothy 4:12: “Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.”
