Children’s Ministries Department

Children are at the heart of the mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, and Christ Our Hope SDA Church is dedicated to ensuring their growth, development, and wellbeing. The Children’s Ministries Department provides age-appropriate resources and programs to introduce children to the Bible, nurture their faith, and help them build a lifelong relationship with Jesus Christ.

This ministry serves children from birth to age 14, recognizing that young hearts are often the most receptive to God’s love. By creating an environment of care, learning, and joy, the department equips children to become disciples of Jesus and empowers them to share their faith with others.

Core Responsibilities:

• Bible Teaching: Offering creative, interactive, and age-appropriate Bible study materials to help children understand God’s Word.
  
  

• Spiritual Nurture: Organizing children’s Sabbath School classes, Vacation Bible Schools (VBS), and special programs to strengthen their faith.
  
  

• Leadership Development: Training children as young leaders and preparing them to serve in the church and community.
  
  

• Family & Community Engagement: Working with parents and guardians to support Christian upbringing and moral values at home.
  
  

• Child Evangelism: Encouraging children to share their love for Jesus with their friends, classmates, and community.
  
  

Guided by Proverbs 22:6: “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it,” this department ensures that every child is nurtured in the love of Christ and grows into a faithful ambassador for His kingdom.
