Personal Ministries Department
The Personal Ministries Department of Christ Our Hope Seventh-day Adventist Church exists to inspire, train, and equip members to become active witnesses for Christ. It provides resources, Bible study materials, and opportunities for outreach that help members grow spiritually while also sharing the gospel with others.
This department emphasizes that every believer is called to mission. Whether through personal Bible studies, small group fellowship, or community outreach, Personal Ministries encourages members of all ages to live as disciples of Jesus and to invite others to experience His love.
Core Responsibilities:
Bible Study Groups: Providing study guides and resources for Sabbath morning classes and small groups that also meet during the week.
Evangelism Training: Equipping members with skills and tools to confidently share their faith.
Outreach & Witnessing: Mobilizing members for visitations, Bible studies, and community evangelism.
Mission Emphasis: Promoting both local and global mission work through programs, reports, and activities.
Discipleship Resources: Supplying materials for all age groups to strengthen personal faith and encourage spiritual growth.
This department is guided by Matthew 28:19–20: “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations… teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you.” Through its work, members are continually reminded that evangelism is not just for a few—it is the mission of the whole church.
