Health Department
The Welfare Department of Christ Our Hope Seventh-day Adventist Church is devoted to caring for the well-being of church members and extending compassion to those in need. This ministry reflects the love of Christ by offering practical support, encouragement, and comfort during life’s challenges.
The department ensures that members feel supported in times of joy and sorrow, while also reaching out to the surrounding community with acts of kindness and service.
Core Responsibilities:
Support in Times of Need: Providing assistance to members during illness, financial hardship, or personal crises.
Funeral and Bereavement Care: Offering emotional, spiritual, and practical support to families during funeral rites and times of loss.
Thanksgiving & Special Events: Coordinating welfare support during church-wide celebrations and gatherings.
Community Outreach: Extending help to the less privileged outside the church through donations, visitation, and community service.
Unity and Fellowship: Promoting a spirit of love, care, and togetherness within the church family.
This department is guided by Galatians 6:2: “Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” By ministering to the needs of others, the Welfare Department ensures that the church remains a family of faith, compassion, and service.
