The Secretariat Department of Christ Our Hope Seventh-day Adventist Church plays an essential role in the administrative and record-keeping functions of the church. This department ensures that all official documents, correspondence, and records are properly maintained, providing transparency, organization, and efficiency in the church’s operations.

By supporting leadership and church departments, the Secretariat helps ensure smooth communication and proper documentation of church activities, decisions, and membership records. Their work ensures that the history and growth of the church are preserved for future generations.

Core Responsibilities:

• Record Keeping: Documenting church activities, minutes of meetings, and official communications.
  
  

• Membership Records: Maintaining accurate records of baptisms, transfers, dedications, and membership updates.
  
  

• Correspondence: Managing letters, announcements, and other forms of official communication within and outside the church.
  
  

• Administrative Support: Assisting the pastor, elders, and departments in organizing reports, notices, and schedules.
  
  

• Archiving: Safeguarding historical documents and ensuring that important church files are preserved.
